I believe in working with my students by focusing on the process that leads to the answer of a question we are trying to solve. While the answer is still important, once a student is aware of the process, they can work their way from there. I have worked as a teaching assistant for eight years while at Colorado State University. I discovered that I loved to teach, and work both in small groups, as well as one-on-one. I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-4, Calculus 1-3, Differential Equations, Physics, Multivariable Calculus, AP Calculus AB, Math, Electromagnetism, Science, Quantum Mechanics, AP Calculus BC, and test prep for the GRE.I graduated from Whitman College and Colorado State University, where I earned my Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics in 2014.In my free time, I have a deep passion for kayaking, and often joke that it is my career, with Physics just being a hobby. I also love to read and knit.
